That’s all well and good if you want to spend your time chasing dreams but not really getting anywhere that putting in the hard work will get you.
Chances are you won’t get the quick success you want or you think you’ll get.
With property investing you can have
the life you dream of,
A secure future
And choices to do what you want to with your life.
Only you’ve got to work at it.
You might not like to hear that but it’s true if you want it you’ve got to do the hard work.
Initially, it takes the hard work to get this all set up the way you want it.
When I started in property it took me eight weeks and 80 plus viewings before I found my first professional cash-flowing deal.
I was traveling two hours each week to my chosen investment area doing 10 viewings then doing the numbers and putting in the offers on the same day or the following day.
There were plenty of times that I thought why the hell am I getting soaking wet and freezing cold looking at houses that maybe won’t even accept the price I need to offer them to be able buy it and to make it work for me.
But I persisted and kept going back and kept going for the “no that’s not acceptable” and “don’t be daft they won’t take that” responses I had from sales agents.
Till one day I was told “YES they will take that offer.”
I couldn’t believe it.
Two and a half maybe three months I had slogged and I was on my way to earning £2,500 – £3,000 per year from the property and I kept going till I hit my target of 10 properties so I would achieve £25,000 – £30,000 a year coming in for the rest of my life.
I had worked hard to achieve this and it gives me the choices and the lifestyle I wanted back then.
The reality is he way i did it took me 18 months to get where I wanted to be.
Today I can do that quicker as i have the experience and have learned along the way.
Now 20 years on I still have the property plus lots more and income I have created.
The fact is that it got easier as time went on because I knew what I was doing and how I would achieve it.
